The DeKalb County Youth Commission is a LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, sponsored in March of 2008 by Commissioner Lee May for the CEO and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners. It was designed to involve youth, from varied socioeconomic backgrounds and multi-cultural neighborhoods, with opportunities to have a voice in their communities.

The Deshong Rockbridge Community Coalition is combination of several surrounding subdivisions, residents, and merchants who are centered on a commitment to enhance and maintain the quality of life in the Stone Mountain-Lithonia area of Dekalb County.   We understand and believe that the appearance of a community is a direct representation of the people who live in it.
